Matsu Asano

Matsu Asano (born Akodo Asano) is the magistrate of Kyoudai Misuteru Mura. Born as an Akodo, he changed his name after the Akodo were stricken from the Lion clan. In 1124 he was stationed in Kyoudai Misuteru Mura.

He has a wife, a Matsu, but he hasn't seen her for years. He has a lover in the town and has had an illegitimate child with her. The child is five years old.

As magistrate of this remote village, Asano has taken several liberties in his dealings and bends the rules on a constant basis.
